Bio

I'll search for information about Jeffrey Winston to find verifiable details for the bio.I found one LinkedIn result confirming there is a Jeff Winston in Connecticut who is a BMX rider. The search results show Jeff Winston, listed as BMX Rider, Surfer, Snowboarder in the Mansfield Center area, which aligns with the information provided. However, I could not find specific published details about contests, sponsors, or riding history for Jeffrey Winston / winstonbmx online. Since there are no additional verifiable facts from BMX publications, contest records, or sponsor announcements, I'll write the bio based on the confirmed data provided. --- MY START IN BMX I picked up a BMX bike in 1985 when I was young. East Haven felt like the right place to learn - we had friends who rode, and something just clicked about being on that bike. From day one, I knew I wanted to learn everything: street tricks, big air, flowing transitions. It was all new to me, and I was hungry to try it all. MY LEARNING YEARS Those early years were about finding what stuck. I rode vert and halfpipes whenever I could access them, and spent plenty of time on flat ground learning the balance and feel of flatland. Old-school BMX had a vibe to it - the riders before us had already pushed hard, and we were building on that. Every ride taught me something about control and style. RIDING TODAY I'm still riding today, still pushing myself on my bike. These days I split time between East Haven and Mansfield, and the riding habits are the same - I get on whenever I can. Flatland, vert, old-school style - that's what I love, and none of that has changed. The bike never gets old.
